In the photos we have thousands of photos but sometimes they take up too much. It is possible that you have a beautiful photo that occupies a lot of MB but you want to send it and you do not need so much quality. For this there are tools that allow you to optimize and compress photos. And fortunately they are also in the form of an Android application.
If you want not to spend so much data or want to upload it to a website or simply want to reduce the size of the photo, here we leave you six applications to reduce the weight of the photo, compress them and ultimately earn a few megabytes at the cost of losing slightly quality in the image.
We already warned you that there will be no great difference in quality since they are mainly based on eliminating unused metadata and eliminating processed ones. In many cases at first sight it will look the same and for many of its uses the loss of quality will be compensated by the reduction in weight obtained.
The first application of the list is our recommended one. It is JPEG Optimizer, a new very simple app with Material Design aesthetics that allows us to open the photo, choose the quality factor, reduce the noise and choose the specific resolution to which we want to transform the image. It also allows you to select different photos and shows it to us in a big way.
Another very popular application is Photo Compress 2.0 that has a free version without ads that allows you to reduce up to ten images at once and another payment for 0.99 dollars without limits. We can crop, compress and share the photos. There is also the option to maintain the exif metadata.
Reduce the photo
With reducing the photo we have an application designed to reduce the size of multiple images at once. The idea is that when cutting the image the quality is maintained but a very good reduction of its weight is also applied when changing the resolution. It also has that design point that is always appreciated.

Reduce Photo Size
A more updated application of what its design made us think. We choose the image, we choose from the adjustments the reduction percentage and we accept. It does not have much mystery and is translated into multiple languages.
Cram is an application that promises to reduce the size up to 60% without affecting the resolution and maintaining the same quality levels. It allows to compress 300 photos, although with an integrated purchase of 1.99 dollars we can eliminate this limit. But sharing a tweet will give us a hundred more. It works well although it has too many messages that distract us from what is important.
These applications allow us to reduce photos of several megabytes to images of only a few Kb. It supports images in JPG and PNG, it allows to choose if we want to erase the metadata, it allows multiple selection and we can even add watermarks to several photos. It is free and does not contain advertising.
