Once you’re inside the document, locate the top menu bar. Click on the “Insert” option in the menu.
In the dropdown menu that appears when you click “Insert,” hover over “Drawing.” A submenu will open to the side.
Create a Drawing:
In the submenu, select “+ New.” This will open a drawing canvas.
Add a Text Box:
Inside the drawing canvas, click on the “Text box” icon in the toolbar. It looks like a large “T” in a box.
Draw Your Text Box:
Your cursor will now appear as a crosshair. Click and drag on the canvas to draw the outline of your text box. Don’t worry too much about the dimensions at this point, as you can adjust them later.
Double-click inside the text box you’ve created. This will allow you to enter and format your desired text. The text box is resizable, so you can adjust its dimensions to fit your text appropriately.
Use the formatting options at the top of the drawing canvas to change the font style, size, color, and alignment of your text.
Resize and Reposition:
